Who Are the AAOLEV and What Do They Do for Schools?

The AAOLEV (Association of Advisers for Outdoor Learning and Educational Visits) is the new name for the OEAP (Outdoor Education Advisers Panel). The name change is part of the association's transition from a members' organisation to a formal charity.

The provision of services to schools will, in general, not change as the key changes are being implemented to make the organisation stable and more relevant to the modern education sector. As a result, the website url address remains the same at the moment: https://oeapng.info/

Just remember that there is a new acronym in town!

Handsam Ltd's Managing Director Simon Lowe is a member of the AAOLEV and provides accredited EVC training. Please note that the AAOLEV does not accredit any online-only EVC training as it is felt that in-person training in which the delegates can ask questions of an experienced trainer is necessary for training to deliver this vital role.

If you would like to book EVC training (which can be delivered on your site or via Teams) please contact Handsam's client support team via info@handsam.co.uk.

Please note that as part of the change, the organisation will shortly be promoting a schools' membership. Handsam will provide details of this option following the AAOLEV national conference in October 2025.
